Thuy Ha, Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Thuy Ha earned her Bachelor of Science in Food Microbiology from the University of California, Davis and obtained her Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She received advance optometric training in pediatrics at Boston Medical Center and New England Medical Center in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Ha was also trained in ocular disease and geriatric eye care from Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Fresno and Aran Eye Associates in Miami, Florida.
Along with providing thorough eye exams, Dr. Ha has special interest in fitting contact lenses and co-managing refractive surgery.
Dr. Ha is a native of Stockton, but now resides in Elk Grove since 2005. She is a member of the California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society and the Elk Grove Chamber, http://www.elkgroveca.com
When Dr. Ha is not practicing optometry, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, snowboarding and reading a good book.

Dr. Matt Hakanson
Dr. Matt Hakanson joins VisionCare Optometry as our newest Associate Optometrist!
Dr. Matthew Hakanson earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego and obtained his Doctor of Optometry at the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. He received optometric training in contact lenses at Dr. Edmonds, Husz and Pembertons' private practice in Tuscon, AZ. Dr. Hakanson was also trained in ocular disease and geriatric eye care from Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Fresno, CA.
Along with providing thorough eye exams, Dr. Hakanson has a continued interest in fitting contact lenses and co-managing refractive surgery.
Dr. Hakanson is a native of Sacramento, and resides in East Sacramento. When Dr. Hakanson is not practicing optometry, he enjoys cooking, playing baseball, and reading mystery novels. Dr. Hakanson is also interested in classic cars. He owned a classic car for 10 years and to this day regrets selling it.

Tim Wickham
Tim brings his 11 years of industry experience to the office as the Office Manager. He and his wife adopted a newborn boy in the summer of 2009 and are enjoying being parents. When he is not diligently working at the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and playing the violin. He enjoys retreating to Yosemite as often as possible and spends his time engulfed in photography.

Robyn Federicksen
Robyn joins VisionCare Optometry as of the new year. She brings 3 years of optical experience to the practice and is our full time Optician. She is a graduate from University of California, Irvine and recently moved up to our area.
